James Hofmann

James “Jim” M. Hofmann, of St. Ann, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 19, 2025, at the age of 67. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maureen Hofmann, and his brothers Jeff Hofmann and Greg Hofmann.  

He is survived by his 2 children, Michelle Hofmann and Dustin (Marilyn) Hofmann and his 4 grandchildren, Alyssa, Jamie, Madison, and Dustin, Jr., as well as his siblings, nieces and nephews, and many friends.  

Jim loved spending time with friends and family. He enjoyed cooking and was always on the lookout for a new recipe to try. He loved music and especially enjoyed going to concerts and seeing his favorites perform live. He was a fan of the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals, as well as an avid golf fan. His favorite holiday was St. Patrick’s Day, and he looked forward to the parades, getting decked out in green, and having a drink with friends every year. He was friendly and outgoing, never met a stranger, and would brag about his grandkids to everyone he met. He was loved and will be missed.  

An informal memorial will be held in his honor on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 1-5 pm, at the St. Ann Civic Center in the multipurpose room.
