Not sure what to say?

I had the honor of working close with Dr. Holda during my Master's. He was an amazing mentor throughout the process of obtaining my degree as well as in life in general. I will miss his light hearted nature and fantastic sense of humor.

I adored Dr. Holda and loved working with him at The University in the Biology Department. He had a great sense of humor and I enjoyed many conversations with him about his family. He was a very special individual. The world is a better place with people like Jim in it!

Dr. Holda was an amazing professor, advisor, and mentor to all of his students. He was one of my most favorite professors and mentors not only for his intelligence and encouragement but also for his great sense of humor. His classes always brightened my day. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Dr. Holda was such a wonderful professor and very encouraging. I am saddened to hear of his passing, he will greatly be missed.

Dr. Holda is an inspiration for all of us. He was loved by all and will carry a legacy throughout UA forever. There was never a time I didn't leave his class smiling.

Dr. Holda was by far my favorite professor. I bonded with my now best friend in his class and it was easily the best, most informative class of graduate school. I use what I learned from him in my career today and he is the reason I love immunology so deeply. I just emailed him a couple weeks ago to tell him such. The world has suffered a magnificent loss. My heart is broken and I send all my love to his family. I am so grateful I was lucky enough to know him and call him a friend and mentor....

My heart is broken. Dr. Holda was the most knowledgeable, effective, hard-working, fun, and caring professor there was. He was truly incredible. My heart goes out to his family in this time.
