Not sure what to say?

Thanks to Mr Holechek, whom I knew through the Baltimore Civil War Roundtable, Maryland finally got a monument at Gettysburg. I was there the day it was dedicated. A major oversight, Jim set things straight.

Jim was a true friend and will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences to Pat and family, may your fond memories and support of family and friends help you through this most difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to the family. May the Hearer of prayers grant comfort, courage and strength at this time. Psalms 6:2

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Jim Holechek. He was instrumental is having a monument placed at the Gettysburg Battlefield dedicated to all Marylanders that served at that conflict. He received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Sons of Confederate Veterans for his fine work.

On behalf of the Col. Harry W. Gilmor Camp #1388 Sons of Confederate Veterans Baltimore Maryland , we offer our deepest sympathy to the family. Our thoughts and prayer are with you.
