James Hollingshead

Besides the fact that James was fun and funny, and a cool guy to hang out with, he was a great human. When I surfed,body surfed, and boogie boarded at Playalinda or NSB,or Cocoa Beach with James,I always felt like we were on a similar wavelength. Like, " ya,let´s have fun, but not get too crazy." I think we had the same opinions on many things. The sadness and loss I feel is not diminished by the fact that I had only seen James once in the past thirty years,and that was only a brief chance...

We cannot think of James without thinking about his constant smile! James was such a wonderful human being, a loving husband, and a doting dad. We so enjoyed getting know James better over the last several years, and will miss him greatly.

James was a wonderful friend and fishing/shrimpin buddy whom I always looked up to. He had a serenity about him that I always admired and strived for. He was also funny and just a great person to be around. I will miss him a lot. Lisa - I am so sorry that you have lost your soulmate but I am also very happy that you and James had a wonderful life together and raised two beautiful girls that will carry on his legacy. Please know that we are thinking about you and praying for you every day.

We met James through mutual friends many years ago and would see him and Lisa about once a year at social gatherings. He was always fun to converse with and always had a twinkle in his eyes and a great sense of humor. So sorry for the untimely loss of such a good human being.
