Barry was a special person, a truly gentle man. I enjoyed short chats with him when there was a lull at the front desk at NSC. Fishing was our favorite topic. My sympathy to all his family.

Barry and I worked together from 1974 when I started at Boeing, but most closely in the late '80's. His name was known throughout the airline industry as THE MAN to contact at Boeing when an airplane was stuck on the ground and required repair. Barry was a joy to work with because his staff always knew where he would land on tough issues and that he had their back when others were doubting. I am out of state and will be unable to attend Barry's service; but my thoughts are with his family now.

Our Grandpa was the greatest man I knew and will be missed every day! It was a blessing to have him in our lives for the time given and more. He will always be remembered for his smile and helping the community around him!
