- James W. “Jimmy” Hooks, age 56, resident of 538 Baker Street, went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2010 at Kings Mountain Hospital. He was born in Union Co., NC, son of the late James Daniel Hooks. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Ruth Phillips. He was a former textile employee.
