James (Jimmy) Hooten, age 44, of Auburn, GA formerly of McDonough died Wednesday, March 8, 2006. He was born in Griffin, GA. Mr. Hooten was preceded in death by his father, Leon Hooten. He loved to travel and liked antiques.

Mr. Hooten is survived by his mother, Lillie Lorene Hooten, Riverdale, GA; sisters, Catherine Annelle Busby, Riverdale, GA, Gwendolyn Carol Corley, Stockbridge, GA, Donna Marie Hammock, McDonough, GA, Kathy Annice Rivers, McDonough, GA; several nieces & nephews; and his best friend, Max.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 10, 2006 at the Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. James West officiating. Interment will follow at McDonough City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 9, 2006 from 6-8 pm at the Funeral Home.
