Not sure what to say?

Dear Anita: I was so sorry to recently learn about Jim. He was a real gentleman and a scholar. I very much enjoyed talking science with him and discussions with him were always interesting for me (and I hope for him). I send my deepest sympathies on your loss. Best wishes, Scott

Dr. Hopper you will be missed by myself and the rest of crew from Blue Ring Landscaping. We all enjoyed working with you and learning stuff from you as well. We will do our best to take care of your property and assist Mrs. Hopper with anything she needs. Rest in peace Dr. Hopper

My mom, Anne shared the news of Jim's passing. I wanted to extend our sympathies to you Anita, and to Julie as well. Thinking of you and sending love. It's been many years since we were together at mom's house in Carlisle....but we are family and we hold you close in our hearts.

Dear Anita,

We cannot find words that are adequate, but just want to say that you and Julie are in our thoughts.

With great sadness,

John & Becky Wills

Dear Anita and Julie, So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Although it has been many years since my days in Hershey, I always had fond memories of Jim and his interactions with our lab. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.

Jim was such an inspirational and encouraging person. Indeed sad to lose such a nice person.

Dear Anita,
I'm terribly sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I always appreciated his clever insights, encouraging words, and love of all things yeast. May you be comforted by friends, family, and prayers during this time.

Anita and Julie, so very sorry to learn of Jim's passing. Such a witty, smart man. His legacy will continue on in all of the young scientists he mentored. I'm honored to be one of them.

Dear Anita and Julie,
It is with great sadness that we learned of Jim's passing. What a huge loss! He was a tremendous teacher and mentor who had a big influence on both of us: we would not be where we are now if it was not for what he taught us on how to be real scientists and ask the right questions. We are eternally grateful to Jim and he will always live in our memory as one of the most remarkable people that we had a chance to meet in our lifetime. May he rest in peace and his memory...
