Don Heflin just told me of Jimmy's passing and my heart felt symphaty goes out to you and your family. I have been in your shoes and know how difficult it is to go through each day without the love of your life. Chris loved Jimmy so much and I am sure today they are renewing old times. Call me anytime if you just want to vent.

He helped me through some difficult times and hardships in my life as teenager. I will never forget Jimmy or what he did for me in a true time of need. So sorry for your loss. Jimmy came to see me prior to his operation; he never changed. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

I shall never forget Jimmy's contagious laugh which affected everyone around him. Farewell Family Man, Farewell Sergeant, Farewell Marine. Jimmy shall remain in many of our thoughts and memories until we all meet again at the big roll call.
