Not sure what to say?

My second post but write I must. I’m watching Field of Dreams and oh, how perfectly beautiful is your score! It lends so much to the overall inspiration of the story.well done, sir. I love how you wrote the main theme for a soaring French Horn. That’s the wonderful James Thatcher performing and doing you proud. Thank you again for every exquisite note. My ongoing love to your family, and my continued gratitude for the times I was blessed to work with you during my studio singing career....

Dearest James, I am so late with this but it is heartfelt nonetheless. In my six decades blessed career as a studio singer I had the honor and privilege of working with you on more than one occasion. What stands out to me right now is your beautiful score for the movie Brainstorm , Natalie Wood´s last project. I loved that you used a boys choir, it lent such purity. You were lovely to work with, always smiling and kind. The musicians admired you greatly and called you Jamie. ...

Today, on the 28th of January 2017, I decided to google James Horner to see what other scores besides Avatar 2 he was working on, just to find out that he lost his life almost 2 years ago. The day he died was the day I got sick and since I was very ill throughout all of 2015 and 2016, I never heard or read about his death until just now. And my heart is shattered.

Rest in Peace James Horner

Only five months ago a brilliant star was whisked from the sky, leaving so much love behind.Mr. Horner had music glowing in him; his heart and mind glittered with music. He died on my birthday.

It has been just over 3 months since Mr. Horner's death, I still ache. I feel like he was one person who spoke the language of my heart. As a neophyte composer myself, he has been such an influence on me. I could always identify music as a Horner score in just seconds. My wife always wondered how I knew, I said, he is speaking my language. God Bless

Music, to me, is a universal language and Mr. Horner James), spoke all of our languages in his musical scores! Our "hearts have to go on", harnessing his legacy. Wow..such a flower picked too soon. My heart goes out to his family! When I saw his name in many films my heart knew it was in for greatest of all rides:just a mighty good time...all of the time.To his wife, daughters and family: Wow, how lucky you are to be his loves...one day at a time, ok.♥
