Not sure what to say?

As Steve Bitzkowski said, we were talking about Hoke this weekend. I spent 4 years with Hokie while in McGrath Hall at Fort Hays State University. He would give the shirt off of his back for anyone. He was a rare person, always pleasant and never contrary. You will be missed.

As Steve Bitzkowski said, he and I were talking about Hoke this weekend. I spent 4 years with Hokie while in McGrath Hall at Fort Hays State University. He would give the shirt off of his back for anyone. He was a rare person, always pleasant and never contrary. Rest in Peace, Hoke. You are missed.

I was visiting with an old college friend from Fort Hays State this past weekend and as we were reminiscing about "the good old days" in McGrath Hall, naturally the legendary "hoke" came up. We had fond thoughts of him and were wondering where he was and what he was doing. So, I happened to google him today and much to my dismay, learned of his passing. Mike was a great guy and I consider myself blessed to have known him those many years ago. May he rest in peace.

Our family has a huge hole without you, your laugh, stories and helpful attitude, were a treasure. We couldn't have asked for a better son-in-law. You and Heidi blessed us with the great gift of Zoey, and we see you in her daily. With God's help we will take good care of them. Elaine & Bud Wood

Miley, your passing has left such a hole in so many lives! My love and prayers go out to Heidi and Zoey. We are all devasted that God has called you so soon. One thing for sure, you will laways be loved and missed into eternity. Farewell my friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Mike at Boeing and he was fondly known as 'the Veggie' guy.(I can hear him laughing right now). He would bring us the best produce from his garden crops, pile the tables full of veggies, and share it with all of us. I loved his laugh, great stories, and love for life. The happiest I ever saw him was on the day he married you, Heidi and then when he told me all about Zoey. He was a special guy and will be missed. May he rest in peace.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

I'm so sorry for your loss. What a great guy! I just told a "Mike Story" to my family today, and then came home to a post about losing him! Talking to Mike was always a breath of fresh air; we had the greatest laughs while working together at Boeing. I was happy to get to see him & Zooey a few times at Tech Pubs gatherings or funerals. He was proud of his 'girls'! He loved his family and his escapades with them. May God comfort you in the days ahead!
