Not sure what to say?

It does not seem like six years. I was talking about Jim with a few other demographers just last month. It was a story about a time at FSU when Jim and a few other students were visiting with a faculty member. The conversation got heated quickly. Jim stood his ground. It was quite a day. I miss you my friend.

It has been nearly four years since Jim passed and we lost a really good friend. From time to time I find myself thinking of our days at FSU and Jim´s desire to be his best. We were all better when Jim was still with us.

Jim Hosler was the real deal. I worked with him at the Planning Commission and he was smart, funny and very committed to his work. He gave me a lot of opportunities for which I will always be greatful.

I was in grad school at FSU with Jim as well. Years ago he and Pam gave my wife and me a great tour of Tampa, from city planner perspective. More recently, Jim and Pam visited us in Omaha -- it was great to see them again. Jim was a good man. He is missed. Louis Pol, Omaha Nebraska

Jim and I were in grad school together at FSU. I will miss him

I served as the Librarian at the Planning Commission when Jim was the Director of Research. I remember his strong, resonant voice, and his sense of humor and laughter. My sympathy to his family and cats.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Jim Hosler during my time in County government. He was a true professional and an outstanding example of a public servant; a fine gentleman who was an honor to his profession.
My condolences to the Hosler family
