Jim Hotchkiss and some relatives

I am Mr. Hotchkiss' friendly Safeway checker. Over the years we became great friends. I have just now found of his passing, and I am truly saddened. Each Saturday at 2pm we had a standing date to discuss the weekly events. All check out lines stopped for him and we chatted, laughed and truly enjoyed our few moments of light hearted chit chat.

The service was lovely today. We will think of Jim every time we hear a funny anecdote or witty pun. He was the master!
