Not sure what to say?

It was an honor to know Jimmie Hough. I'll not forget the first time we met. We started talking about music, and he reached in his pocket and gave me a complimentary ticket to a Harlingen Concert Association concert that was happening that evening. I went and was blown away that this was something Harlingen had to offer. His kindness led to me becoming an active member of the Concert Association and eventually serving on the board of directors. I am sure there are many stories that are...

What a dear, kind person he was. I enjoyed being in South Texas Chorale with him and his beloved wife.

Jimmie was a wonderful friend and mentor to my husband John and me. Such a wonderful Christian! He´s already at work in Heaven!

I remember Jimmie and his family well as our parents were friends.

My deepest condolences Cheryl to you and all your family. I met your Dad when I bought the family home on E. Austin Ave. in 1985. Then years later you and your brother came over with him to the rental next door as he was on the roof cutting some tree limbs. I always enjoyed his chats whenever he came to the rentals next door to me on either side, and helped cut a tree limb from my roof too. I admired him very much Cheryl. May he Rest In Peace

What a wonderful soul has joined his maker in Heaven! I so loved Mr. Hough and am very appreciative of his kind direction and fatherly advise in my teen years. Blessings to the family in their loss but praise for Heaven's gain!!
