Jim was such a good man, husband, father and a friend to all. I have known him, Denise and his family for over 40 years. I spent many a day and some nights in the second-floor conference room, during the many years of working at the "CITY". Jim was the smartest numbers guys I've ever known. Though sometimes we didn't agree, I always felt we were trying to the best for our city. In later years I had the pleasure of coach his son in hockey and found his devotion to his kids the same as his devotion to the city. I´ll never forget the night Jim saved my life and my 1986 Saab 900. Alfred and I were up to no good in a blizzard. We were stuck at the bottom of the hill behind CHS. Al reluctantly called his dad, who immediately walked down the hill to rescue us. Jim took the wheel of my car and went from 1st to 5th gear in a matter of seconds. Denise and family, I am extremely saddened by this news. I worked with Jim at the City of Concord. I have such high admiration for Jim -he was a smart man who was funny, easy to talk and get along with, treated people with respect, and most importantly made you feel like you were important in this giant cog-wheel here at the city. He was one of a kind. I hope that someday all these stories will bring smiles because I know there are many happy stories that just haven't been told...

As cousins, we interacted many times in my earliest years -- until he became a teenager and "too cool" to be around the "babies"!
