Not sure what to say?

Uncle Jim was an inspiration to all of us.He always went out of his way to make everybody feel good, even if he had a rough day. I can still remember his voice,he would always joke around, even when things were tough. Everytime he came over, he would ask for a cup of coffee, and we would sit, and talk about family, and friends, while looking at old photos. Uncle Jim had so much love for everyone. He was always so proud of Jimmy, and his boys, he would brag about them all of the time. He loved...

We are very sorry to hear about Jim. He was a wonderful neighbor and will be truly missed.

Although I was not as close to Uncle Jimmy as the rest of the Franklin clan, I did have the great privilege of knowing him. I only have warm and happy memories of him. Every time I saw he would have a great big smile on his face and would demand a hug from me. It would be several months between the times I saw him but he would always say that I got more beautiful every time he saw me, it always made me smile. That is how he would want us to remember him, always smiling and trying to get other...

Jim,

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

I saw Jim off and on through the years at family gatherings. He seemed to always have a smile on his face.I'll never forget the time he took us up in a small plane to see the Plaza lights. That was amazing. My heart is with you Jimmy and the whole family. He will truely be missed.

There aren't words to describe 'Uncle Jim' that would do him justice. He was such a great man, and will be missed dearly. You know somone is great when every thought of them brings a smile to your face. Since I was 5 I knew him, and he always had a smile on his face, a joke to tell, or some new 'toy' to show off. He was a very special person, and will always be remembered as such. My prayers go out to all of the Huffman family.

Little Jim - our prayers are with you and your family; also with John and Karen and theirs. Even though we tend to lose contact over the years, your dad meant a great deal to my brothers and I. Mom and Dad talked about Jimmy and John all the time while we were growing up. I know in my heart they welcomed him home also.

I worked with Jim at TWA. When I met him I was working nights and going to flight school. We spent many breaks talking flying and hanger flying. He quickly became a mentor and a close friend. If not for Jim I would not have made it as an airline pilot. I owe a great debt to him and will miss him. All of our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely, John Messer

My condolences to the Huffman family. Jimmy’s going to be missed tremendously, especially by me. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Stay positive and remember all the good times that we’ve shared with him. I’m sure he’d want us all to be happy that he‘s in a better place. Torri
