i only knew james for a short time when we worked at the resort together in traverse city, he was an excellent drummer, we went and watched him alot, james u were a riot at the resort always had us in stitches, u will be sadly missed by all of us

Wow! !!! What a loss i am so very sorry to the family i just found out James was my friend when we lived in Traverse City Mi we were rival drummer's. Although he did show me how to work the double bass pedal you will be missed my friend what a drummer! !!!

I will always remember you. When I lived in Traverse City i had watched you play in your band and you where good. i wish we would of stayed in contact after i moved away.

I been at a loss of finding the right words to describe the Friendship that I had with James. over the last 5 or so years, we were Face Book Buddies. Talking about our friends in Jackson but always talking about Music. I live in North Carolina and as you know, James lived in Arizona. We both posted music and pictures of the various bands that we were involved in. But what I've noticed was that the People in Arizona took in James as a friend and treated him like a brother.
