Not sure what to say?

Cheri, you're in my thoughts and prayerst today. I have such fond memories of you and Jim. Take care, dear friend.

Over these years having lost both of our husbands and lived through milestones of our children, I think back to what our guys were involved in. As Mikey got sicker all he told me was to rely on Jim for help in dissolving Mike's record collection. I looked at Jim as a trusted friend and was grateful for his friendship. God Bless all of us.

Thinking of you, remembering your big help during my worst times.

Two years and it never gets easier. we all -- who lost those we cherish. -- end up with a "new normal"Enjoy the wonderous music and concerts Jim. Ronnie I, Frank Bartholmew, and of course my beautiful Michael (aka Big Mike) and those many others are probably having a great time.Miss you all very much. SincerelyDiane Caldarulo

Coach Hunt was an amazing person. I became aware of his passing this weekend. As a teacher and coach, he made me a better person. He taught me how to respect people and laid down the foundation of Team sports. He was a respected teacher and one of the best basketball coaches I played for - (Runner-Up State Sectional Champs 1978). God bless Jim and all of his family.

I, too, have been in shock upon hearing of Jim's passing. I've just left a monthly breakfast get-together with a group of music buddies. All of our hearts were heavy with sadness. We shared memories and stories of Jim that came to our minds. I personally have known Jim since the 60's. Aside from always being on hand to answer music questions I may have had, I was indebted to him for helping me dispose of a large portion of my 45 rpm record collection through his auctions. Cherie and the...

Coach Hunt was a great guy. He coached my brother Ray and I used to see him at Dumont High and at basketball camps all the time.

He will definitely be missed.

I was stunned and saddened to learn of Jims passing this morning . We were fellow record collectors having first met at the Relic Record Shoppe in 1974. Jim was a great guy and fun to talk to. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to his wife and family

I'm very very sorry to hear about Jim. I've known him since 1964 when he worked part-time on weekends in our record store, Relic Rack on Main Street in downtown Hackensack. Jim was an all-around good guy, composed, unflappable and very dedicated to his abiding passion for R&B group harmony and the myriad of 45s produced by those groups in the '50s and '60s. Jim was extremely knowledgeable about R&B group harmony music from its earliest days to the soul era...he was a dedicated collector and...
