Gone but never forgotten!

Serina Y. Mitchell Grambling State University C/O Dec '75 Gone but never forgotten! Love to All

Thirteen years later--the family is fine and James' legacy lives! God is good & faithful! Love to All!

I was in the 8th grade when I had the first opportunity to see James Hunter play we beat Silsbee Lincoln Junior High School 54 to nothing James and William Graham beat our 9th grade football team 38 to nothing James Hunter played a big role in that game win he was a great player........ then when I started to be recruited for college I went to Grambling and he tried to talk me into coming to Grambling State it was a hard choice to make so I ended up at Howard University

My deepest sympathy! My thoughts and prayers goes out to the entire James E. Hunter Family. May GOD bless you and keep you in this time of sorrow. Audrey J. Williams Knox (Southfield, Michigan)

I knew Hunter from Grambling. I had not seen him since that time. I heard of his passing and became curious about the type of person he became. I was happy to find out that the traits mentioned by so many are the same positive traits I remember him possessing all of those years ago. God be with his family.
