Not sure what to say?

I also wore his POW bracelet. What a community of caring and love. I watched him come off the plane when he was released. He was a part of my for a long time. My deepest condolences to his family. What an honor to have worn his name.

I just finished reading Kristen Hannah´s book The Women about army nurses in Vietnam. I still have the POW bracelet I wore for Commander Hutton and was inspired to look him up. I´m so sorry for the loss for his family but I´m happy for them that he had a great life and found happiness after he came home. I see there are several of us who commented who wore his name and kept him close to our hearts.

My grandfather had this for many years.

I served in the United States Navy from Jan 1969 retiring in Nov 1995. I receive a POW bracelet with CDR Hutton´s name on it sometime in 1972. I still it to this day. I was excited to learn of his release in 1973. Sorry to learn about his passing in 2017. Kent Zimmerman CDR USNR Ret

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. When I was a teenager, I wore the metal bracelet for CDR James Hutton, POW 10/16/65. I´m also feeling gratitude that CDR Hutton was released in 1973 and he lived a long, fulfilling life. Thank you for your service, sir. Donna

Hello, my name is Amy Buttons and I have an original MIA bracelet for CDR JAMES HUTTON. I would be pleased to send it to his family. Please email me. [email protected]. Thank you Mr. Hutton for your service.

My father, Cmdr Donald Hugh Hartley, Alexandria Va., proudly wore his friends POW MIA bracelet. It never left his wrist. I'll never forget my this name....or my mother explaining this to Hutton (as my father had recently passed).... and sadly the two friends were not able to reunite. Dutton replied to my mother that he did not even know the bracelets existed.
