To Jimmy's family.
My name is Michael VanDamme, I was with Jimmy in Afghanistan on that fateful day. I just wanted to let you know that more of us would have been injured or killed that day without his willingness to put himself in harms way. He did that many other times as well. Without him and Daphany finding IED's it would have been much more dangerous for all of us. I'm sure he saved many lives. He was a great man and a true soldier.
