Not sure what to say?

I will always remember Jim as the guy who would walk into the FSA Office with a big smile, a big hello and the guy who had so much on his mind it was hard for him to sit for 5 minutes. It was a challenging but rewarding experience for me to work with him. Brenda, Sarah & Kate, I did not get to know you and am so sorry I didn't get the opportunity to work with you. Andy, you were my life-saver when I needed my flat on my truck changed and Matt I had so much fun working with you during my...

Brenda,

My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. Even though I didn't know Jim personally, I wanted to let you know that at this time of sorrow, may faith give you strength for every tomorrow. The ones we love are never gone, they live within our hearts.

God Bless You,

Debbie Rowe

It has been my privilege to have known Jim (and Brenda) since we were in the seventh grade. He was the best friend a person could have. My sincerest sympathies go out to Brenda, and to the Isgar family.

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a fine Senator and worked very hard for his district. I enjoyed knowing him while I was city manager of Cortez. He represented us very well.

It is with great sadness that I heard about Jim leaving us. I wish I had heard of his passing sooner so that I could have attended his memorial. However it is with great joy that I remember how much Jim and his family taught me, a city boy, about the rural life and how much family and friends really mean.

My deepest sympathies to the Isgar family. I knew Jim only briefly at Colorado University. We were both in engineering and he was a good friend. He switched majors and we slowly lost touch, but I saw him occasionally in Durango and followed his political career from Denver. He was great guy.

It was all too obvious that Jim was very ill, but he never once mentioned his illness or presented anything other than happiness. Patty and I hope that we will conduct our own departures with equal dignity.

We're saddened by Jim's passing---our heartfelt condolences to the Isgar Family.
