Not sure what to say?

I worked with Jim at Israel´s Designs for Living, right out of high school in 1978 until 1981. I always remembered him as a genuinely nice guy who was fun to work with, especially during the dreaded apartment projects of installing hundreds of curtain rods. I despised doing those jobs, but Jim made it easier to deal with. My sympathy to the entire family.

Jim and Laurie were such a humble, sweet and loving couple. They were always active and involved volunteers at the schools our kids went to together. So sad to learn of Jim´s passing knowing how his family will miss him, but happy he and Laurie are reunited.

Jimmy was a classmate at Seymour and we shared both school and church memories growing up. One lasting memory of him occurred when we were in middle school. A kid known for mean comments was mocking me about something and Jimmy was sitting next to me. After the kid left, Jimmy could see that I was very upset. He looked at me and said, "Buzz, consider the source." Way too mature for words, when you think of it. I will remember Jimmy with a smile on his face. I can't really ever remember...

I just read Jim´s obituary and was so sad to learn he had passed away. We had been friends since the early 70s, I went to his wedding, caught up with him over the years. He called several times recently. My heart goes out to his children, grandchildren, his brother Bob and family. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Jim was a smile in school, church, the neighborhood, and at `the office´. He never wavered .... Just got better. My deepest sympathy to Jennifer and James and long time friends Bob and Paulette. Prayers of comfort and peace!! Love to all.

Jim (and Laurie) were great neighbors in Alger Heights. It was always a fun adventure to have Jim help me pick out flooring and decorations for my home over the years.

I will always remember Jim's cheerful, positive attitude along with a smile and genuine laugh!

Jim was a friend from elementary school and a neighbor down the street. He was always kind and I am proud to have known him.
