Not sure what to say?

Front South at the ADPhi fraternity house on the Miami University campus was a great place to hang out with brothers. Many stories and much laughter took place there. Jake´s sense of humor was always a noteworthy element of any conversation. His wisdom was evident in his words and slightly deadpan delivery. Quite simply, Jake was a good guy to be around. His presence at future fraternity gatherings will be missed. May God´s peace be upon him and with his family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Jake and I were fraternity brothers as well as Sycamore 9 housemates. Very sorry to hear of his passing but know he lived a full life with all he knew better for it.

Jake was a truly unique and special person. We shared many boating experiences, and meals and good times together. His quick whit and infectious smile always kept us smiling too. He had a vast wealth of knowledge on numerous subjects including home construction and cars, and was always willing to share ideas. Jake was a one of a kind gentle person who will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him. Condolences to Sue and all his family; to whom he cared so much about.

Our Love & prayers for you. May you hold dear to the precious times you shared. With Love, Janet Thompson & family

Deepest sympathy to Sue and family. He was a nice man who always had a smile on his face and was ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Sharon $ Gene Pfaff
