Jim helped Intel stay at the top of its industry for many years. He is still the standard by which others are measured, in my opinion.

It is hard to believe that it was so long ago. Jim set a standard in his work at Intel that has not been equaled. We miss him and think of him every time we see and wish he was still with us.

We're so sorry we missed the event.
Jim was special to both of us, especially his sense of humor. Donna enjoyed her time at Intel, mainly because of Jim, and I liked the fact the he was almost always smiling.
Jim was a great person to "hang" with, and we will both remember him with much affection.
Love,
Donna and Bear

As an analyst covering the semiconductor industry, I knew Jim Jarrett for more than 20 years. He was the consummate professional who did much to help Intel achieve its lofty status in the technical world. In addition, he was also a nice guy who dealt fairly with Wall Street. He set high standards for all to follow. He will certainly be missed.

We have all lost a special person. Those of us who knew Jim in high school and college were looking forward to meeting up with him at our reunion in September. Now we'll have to be consoled by the fond memories that we shared with him. My condolences to Laurie and her daughters; may God's peace be with you.

Jim was a much loved and respected cousin. But more than a relative, Jim was a good friend. Our hearts go out to Laurie and her daughters. Jim will be sadly missed. A donation has been made to Abilities United as a memorial to Jim for all the good work he did for the organization over the years. John & Deanna [Pennsylvania]

Jim was one of my best friends in High School. We doubled dated many times. He was a great guy then and in reading the obit I see he was a outstand person in all aspects of his life.
