Not sure what to say?

It was my great joy to serve with Fr. Jimmy for three years at Immaculate Conception School. As he walked from the Rectory to my office, there would always be a great hub-bub as he greeted the children along the way with his booming voice and laugh, kicked a soccer ball, shot a basket, etc. He was a true shepherd to them and to the school community. He visited the school regularly and anytime there was a need, he was there in a flash. His words were clearly of his generation and he was a...

Alan we are praying for you and your family during your time of this great loss. Warm thoughts and prayers for all of you.

I was blessed to have traveled with Fr. Jeanfreau to Bolivia. He was a great spiritual and historical guide. The people in Bolivia loved him and was very warm and friendly to the group who traveled with him. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering Fr. Jeanfreau and you, his loved ones in prayer, today and always.

"Well Done" Good Padre.

I had the privilege of working with Fr. Jeanfreau in his role as the long-standing Diocesan Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies. He was a tireless promoter of Blessed Pauline Jaricot, the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, and missions in Nicaragua and beyond. I will miss his tremendous love for sharing the Gospel and his fidelity to the missions. He was an inspiration

Fr Jimmy will be missed by his parishioners of Immaculate Conception and all of the ministries he served in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Fr Jimmy was a very gracious and unselfish minister; and I will be forever grateful for the graveside blessing he did for my husband , who was not a member of his parish. Rest in Peace with your Lord and Savior. "Well done, good and faithful servant ".

Dear Family of Fr. Jimmy Jeanfreau, I & many of the Catholic church communities are very sorry for your loss. He was a great priest. I say that because he was down to earth & really listened to what you had to say. He was always helping someone in the church parish where he was at. He not only gave counsel, but Fr. Jimmy helped build items for different parishioners as needed. For example, I remember him building a little crib for a remember one time. Also his missionary work speaks for...

Fr. Jimmy Jeanfreau is a man of God & a man of Joy. St. Luke´s community was blessed to have him with us. Though we were sad to see him go, we were proud of him when he left to do mission work. He blessed a rosary ring for me, but he blessed our church so much more. Praise the Lord in His Goodness for giving us Holy and good priests.
