Not sure what to say?

Jim and I started working at Heritage within a few weeks of one another and he very quickly became a friend and a valued colleague. After I mentioned during one casual conversation that I was captain of my high school golf team, Jim immediately began to call me "My Captain," and he continued to do so for the next decade, until I left Heritage. Jim was a fine man and a valued friend, and I am saddened to learn of his untimely passing. I send my sincere condolences to his two sons, whom he...

Jim I will miss you dearly and am so appreciative for what I learned from you because of the words of wisdom and optimistic advice you gave me when I needed them. You always had a radiant smile even on one's worst day(s). Plus not forget you always called me "Juliet" even though I did not like it but we shared good conversations about work, family and more than anything a meaningful friendship, which I will cherish always. Thank you Jim for being who you were and I will remember you for that.

Jim always kept a positive attitude even in the most difficult and stressful times. Though we worked in a different department he always went out of his way to let each of us know how great of a job we did. Thankful and blessed to have the opportunity to meet a man like Jim.

To Jim...I'll miss 'ya. I loved wandering in your office to hear stories about the glory days of lacrosse games and fishing. I'll miss your fake French accent and how you made fun of my bow ties. I'll miss exchanging "Dad" stories and how to raise young men. I'll miss you asking about my family and hearing you cheer for John Micahel at his lax games (even when we were playing Flower Mound). You loved your sons and you cared about others. You were a good guy, Jim. A good guy, indeed.

Jim was always pleasant, chipper and fun to converse and work with. I will miss him and send my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Wonderful person with a wonderful heart. He made difficult days better and made employees smile when they were having a rough day. Will truly be missed and will forever be remembered.

I remember my first week in the department Jim, welcome me he always had words of encouragement to give me his presence will be missed God bless him family.

I was very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We worked together for some ten years, and he was unfailingly professional in all his dealings, both with clients and with colleagues. However, Jim also became a sort of mentor to me in my own modest collecting efforts. He always had time for me, and his advice always proved to be spot on. All in all, a fine man and a sad loss.

I just heard about Jim from one of his colleagues at Heritage. He was a good friend for many years and helped me immeasurably in my collecting and selling coins. He had an encyclopedic mind when it came to coins and we spent many hours on the phone and at shows discussing numismatics. He was an honest man and always gave his opinion freely. He will be missed by many.
