Not sure what to say?

Three years ago today, we lost Jim. I went to Lake Michigan where we scattered some of his ashes, and I thought of how much he would have enjoyed watching the waves roll in on this bright and beautiful day. I miss you, big brother! Love you.

Jimmy was my friend Kathy's sweet little brother. I have such fond memories of the years we spent together at Michigan Oak.
I am so very sorry for your loss. I pray each of you find comfort and peace in your memories.
May Jim rest always in light and love.

This is a real shock, we have been friends since grade school at Michigan Oak. I wish we would have had a chance to catch up. I know your mom and sisters will miss you.

It was a sad shock to learn this news. Jim was my next door neighbor on Woodside in Grand Rapids when I was born, and we were in Grade School together at Michigan Oak. We attended different schools since then and although I haven't seen him since high school days (we used to share a bus stop), I have many memories of his kind and friendly face, and even words exchanged. It was from Jim, for example, that I learned of John Lennon's passing. Jim was one of the good guys in this world. I am glad...

Jim was my favorite childhood friend, we became reacquainted for a while during our college years and then drifted apart. He has always occupied a special place in my heart, and he always will.

I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. My deepest sympathies to his mom and two sisters. We grew up together on Woodside Drive in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Many years later, we worked together at Russo's Pizzeria. He was a very kind, easy going guy. I remember him sharing his dream of going into filmmaking. He did just that. Good job, Jim!! Rest in Peace, my friend.

Sending prayer to the whole family, Jim was a special friend in my younger years.

I'm so sorry to learn of Jim's passing. Though I lost touch with Jim a long time ago, I always held Jim as one of my true friends growing up. We were classmates at Michigan Oak - we would draw during Ms Kinsman's class - history related art. He was a very talented artist as early as 6th grade. I always enjoyed hanging out at Jim's home - wonderful family. His parents even allowed us to build a spook house as our first (And only) business venture ! May you rest peacefully Jim, and my...
