Not sure what to say?

I offer the following thoughts of Jim Jensen on the two year anniversary of his passing. I reread his Obituary, which described his legal talent and strong commitment to his profession. I knew the Judge as a neighbor and he was a gem. Whether he was walking his dog past my home or I was walking past his, Jim always had a moment for a brief conversation. I always found Jim to be respectful and friendly and I truly miss our interaction. May Judge Jim Jensen Rest In Peace.

A wonderful man, a friend and
a dedicated servant to our community. Deepest sympathy to Lynn and the family.

I’m so sorry Lynn. I loved talking to him when I seen him. Many prayers and hugs.

I had the pleasure of appearing before Jim on numerous occasions when he served as a judge and defending cases with him before he assumed his role on the bench. My best memories, however, are of my conversations with Jim on late night dog walks in Old Orchard. He had great insight and always maintained the honor and integrity of the court.

Dearest Tracy,
I was shocked to read that your beloved dad had passed. I remember you talking about your fun family trips, and your loving relationship with your dad.
Please know that I’m holding you and your family close in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
Much love to you!

My sympathy and heartfelt condolences to Lynn and family. My heart has ached since learning of Jim's passing. He was an incredible person who not only mentored me throughout my legal career but also graciously married my son and daughter-in-law just two short years ago. He made the world a much better place and leaves behind a tremendous legacy. There are very few people who have had as much of a lasting impact on those he encountered than JIm. I love that he called me "bad rad" and will...

I’ve been fortunate to have known many, many top-flight people and Jim was one of the very best. At least a few times each year, we were golfing partners against two other great friends. We laughed a great deal during those outings. He had a wonderful sense of humor. One of our good buddies misspoke and called him “Jenkins” at a gathering of lawyers and their families. Jim not only wasn’t upset, he embraced the moniker and began using it in referring to himself. He was a thinker, a doer...
