Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to the Asher family. Jim Asher was one of the biggest reasons I chose Atchison to begin my medical career,he was honest, direct, and led by example; it was one of the best decisions Ive made in my life. He handled issues himself not by committee or delegation, granted it was a different era,but he knew how to manage people and gain their respect, he was very well respected in the medical community. He led a great life, raised a big productive family, and had a sussessful...

My condolences to the Asher family. My early working days at the Atchison hospital under his administration, formed my vision on what a leader should look like. He was caring, a good listener, had integrity and always had a smile.

Truly sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers with the entire Asher family.

I worked at the Atchison Hospital while in college and later as Activities Director at Cray Manor. Mr. Asher was a great person to work for - forward thinking and always respected.

My prayers and condolences to the Asher family. Your parents were such "pillars" of the community. They were a great blessing to me when I became part of the Benedictine College family. I was always at "home" when I visited at your house. I am confident that all seven children and their children will continue the legacy of love from your parents.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Asher was a great administrator to work for. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

I remember when the Asher family moved to Atchison, because his son Jim was in my class at St. Benedict's Grade School. My prayers are with the family as they gather to share memories and celebrate their dad's life.

Our sincere thoughts and prayers to all the familywhat a wonderful man Mr.Asher wasthe heavens have gained a true angel
