This is terrible news. Jim was my friend. He was a good writer and some of his writings are in the Alpha Company website. Jim organized a great Alpha Company reunion in South Dakota. The reunion was greatly enjoyed by everyone that attended.

I will miss our conversations, especially around his birthday when I would call him. Our personal visits covered many topics ,the Vietnam War, family, ( his sister Donna was my wonderful wife ), his favorite sport shooting, and his acceptance of Jesus into his life. Jeannie will be in my prayers as I know the tuff times are ahead for her. But there are great times coming, when we meet again on God's Celestial Shore. Till then, Rest in Peace, Brother

I was happy to know Jim as a BOD member for the Dakota Bench Rest Shooters club, of which Jim was President. He gave freely of his time, would always listen to new ideas and suggestions and truly enjoyed shooting. Working together lately on a building project for the rifle range, his approach to the project was indicative of his organizational skills. The World is a better place for Jim having been here.
