Not sure what to say?

I still think of him often. A very dear friend.

I met Jim and Kay when I served on the prayer committee back in the early 80's at Prestonwood. And, we had the privilege of getting to know them in Sunday school.. Such a gentleman and a loving couple dedicated to prayer and servant-hood. Lawana and I thank you, Kay, for the contributions you both made in our lives and so many others. Our love to you and your family.

Don and Lawana

I loved sitting under Jim and Kaye's teaching, leading and listening to their wisdom. Humility to walk where and how God would lead was evident. It was a privilege to walk beside him for that shirt season. That time was not watered in me. Praise God for Jim's faithful service to our great God!

Kaye and family, may the Lord's faithfulness comfort you and bring you peace and may you experience great joy in knowing Jim's life was a life well lived out for God's glory!

Jim johns- The greatest God Fearing Father in law and dad that I’ve ever known and was welcomed into his family even before I married his son , David. I’ll miss him at first but knowing that dad is home with the Lord praising has made it easier a bit..... I love you daddy. You will always be with me.

Such a dear friend and encourager. We always knew he was available to prayer for us and our family and we will miss him so much. It was our great privilege to call him our friend for over 30 years. God used him to rescue our family. Heaven is sweeter because he's there.

In my life, he was just Dad. There at my birth, and loving me always. He held me up through life’s heartbreaks and applauded me in my successes. And he taught me the love of baseball, music, learning, and Jesus. God blessed me with a truly magnificent Dad.

So very sorry to hear the news of his passing. Incredibly thankful for the profound impact he made on future generations through his service to our Lord. Kaye, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time.
