Not sure what to say?

I just now learned of his passing. Dr. Jimmy Johnson crossed my path as an honors seminar mentor and professor of cultural anthropology at Penn Valley Community College. A great man. An inspiration. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. You have my deepest sympathy.

My dear friend, my buddy....I will miss PJ immensely. I feel very honored to not only have known him but to have been his friend for 7 years. My life has been blessed so much to have been able to call him my friend. Rest now PJ and know that you will never be forgotten.

We will miss the dedication of Jimmy Johnson in sharing the story of his family and the Civil War in Missouri.

I am grateful for the life of Mr. Johnson. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

Jimmy brought history to life. He has sparked my interest in family genealogy. He was a true educator. Condolences to the family and friends. He will be missed.
