Roy Rosen and his family were deeply saddened to hear the news of Jim's passing. Roy was so glad that he got to spend the afternoon with him on St. Patrick's Day. He has many, many great memories of your entire family.

My condolences to the whole Jost family. I have known many of you since the Mid-States hockey games started at Scottrade Center. What a huge loss this must be, and I know you will all pull together to get through this difficult time.
With Heartfelt sympathy,

A wonderful man and good friend to many, you will truly be missed. My heart goes out to my friends, the Jost family. Your father and grandfather of many, you will truly be missed.

I'm deeply sorry to hear of Jim passing! He was a great man and a friend of mine. Our company does business with South Side Machine. Over the years, we all came to know Jim and his sons that work there. Jim will be missed by all of us.

Tom Luther

I worked with Jim Sr. for almost 29 years but never met him face to face. He left a great family to help us through the next 29 years, our prayers are with you.
