Not sure what to say?

Its been 6 years now, feels like yesterday! you are missed RIP.

Mr Kabat, today is election day, and I ALWAYS think of you while I vote. You taught me the majesty of government, and the power of the people. You picked us up in your car and took us to Parma city council meetings, and you stood with us at JFK's fresh muddy grave on the PVJH 8th grade DC trip.

You were one of my most favorite teachers in all my schooling, and you are always remembered fondly. RIP sir.

Its been 5yrs to the day, miss you.
Rest in peace.

The Normandy Class of 77 wishes to extend its condolences to the family for having lost a wonderful member with such a friend and mentor so many of us in the guidance office when we needed him most.

its been 2 years today, you are missed, rest in peace

Mr. Kabat was my 8th & 9th grade (1967 & 68) history teacher. He helped me thru a very tough time in my life. My folks were getting divorced. I also was a slow learner, We now know to be dyslexic. he didn't care he just helped me to pass & gave me the confidence I need to pass other classes. I will never forget his love for the pumpkin fest. & all the gourds, I can't tell you how many I scraped. I never forgot him & I never will. He was a great person. Who ever had him as a teacher was truly...

I am so sad to hear of my uncles passing, he was so much more then a uncle, he was a caring, compassionate, giving man. He did so much for me, and taught me more then anyone! He was and always will be the good in my life. God bless you.

Mr, Kabat was my US and World history teacher at Normandy High School. He had a way of teaching that was unique, I learned a lot from him. I will always remember him fondly as one of my favorite life coaches. He taught me more about life than he did about history. Loved that man. He will be missed. - Jerry Kekic
