Not sure what to say?

As we start 2025, I´m really missing you Marlena. The world is a less light place without you. Love you forever. Best roomie and friend. Always, Barbara May light perpetual shine on you.

I met Lee & Marlena after they moved into our condo building in 2015. Lee loved to talk about sports and could not be trivia challenged about baseball. It was a sincere pleasure to hear about his Viet Nam era military intelligence... only the non-classified things. He loved the USA, the flag, and all his military brother & sisters. I will miss his standing up for himself & Marlena. Marlena, it was a sincere blessing to hear her talk at "length" about her personal stories, from her...

Marlena was my Delta Gamma sorority sister. She was a most exceptional woman in every way. She was beautiful, funny, witty , talented and kind to everyone. She brought laughter and sunshine to everyone that was lucky enough to know her. She was so proud of Jimmy and Jane and loved them so much. I miss you so much, Marlena. Val

Where can I begin?? Marlena was the sparkle from the stars, the laughter that stand up comics dream of, with talent that drew in an audience wherever she was. Her feature in Seventeen Magazine was alluring to every young girl, especially me. When I met her during rush at TCU I was immediately won over and remained a devoted fan and friend until her last breath. Marlena was eager to try new things and pulled them off with gusto. She drew Twiggy eyelashes around her eyes and acted like they...

Marlena was a friend of mine at TCU. She was one reason I decided to pledge Delta Gamma. What a shining light with a beautiful smile and laugh!! Marlena, you are forever remembered and you are now experiencing pure Love from Almighty God! May Marlena´s family be comforted In the coming days.

Losing Marlena means one of the most talented, witty, and beautiful souls has left this earth much, much too soon. I was one year ahead of Marlena at T.C.U., but remained friends through the years via our DG bond. Her extraordinary talent as a musician and general love of fun and laughter will keep her in my heart. Be with God Marlena. His loving arms will hold you now.

Marlena will always be my forever best friend. We met our freshman year at TCU and pledged DG together. We stayed connected in heart and support for one another. No friend of mine ever was as funny and talented as she. I am going to miss you so much, Marlena. You will shine from Heaven always.

My honor and privilege to share remembrances of our Delta Gamma sister, Marlena. Her fantastic smile, dancing eyes and vibrant nature observed along with her leadership, friendships with her sisters during TCU Rush remain my reason for pledging DG so long ago! Fast forward to our crossing paths as mothers raising children; I came to know and adore my daughter's terrific friend at Highland Park High School. Marlena's terrific son, Jimmy was raised to become not only a stellar son...

What a bright light of joy and love was Marlena. We shared sisterhood in Delta Gamma at TCU. She always lit up the room with her smile then and throughout the years. She will be missed by so many, but she will live in the hearts of all those lucky enough to have known her.
