James M. "Jim" Kais

Condolences to the Kais family from The Dartball News. I knew Jim not only in the Catholic Blue & Gold Dartball League but also through playing in the Sheepshead Tournaments Jim ran.

My sincere sympathy to Rick and Mary Jean. So sorry for your loss. Lots of fond memories in our high school days and one of Cal's good friends.

On behalf of the Sussex Lions Club, I extend our sympathies.

Jim was an outstanding Lion and will truly be missed; his passion for community service was evident.

JIm and I were in sports together at SMHS and graduated together in the same class. I always enjoyed his company especially at the class reunions and will miss his viewpoint.

Living away from the metro area, I did not find out about his passing until Mike Barber mentioned it; my most sincere condolences to his family. My wife passed 18 months ago and I know personally that it takes time to adjust to such a loss.

I went to school with Jim at South Milwaukee -- we met up again at the 50th reunion and both went to St. John Neumann for awhile. We are so sorry, Peg -- today is the first I heard of Jim's passing. He was always a friendly, good guy. Our thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Jim was a good neighbor for many years while I was growing up, and continued to be so to my parents through the years since. He will be missed. Condolances to the family.
