So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. My our Lord and Savior Comfort you in all your times of need. He was indeed special. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and let the perpetual light shine upon him. Grant him your peace. Amen

Dear Carol and family, May god grant you peace during this difficult time. Jim was an outstanding person and had a wonderful way about him that touched many lives. His warm smile, quiet ways to reach out and support all the things that he loved was a true blessing. Jim has touched many parts of our entire family so for that we are thankful and grant him peace. He will be missed by many but his good works will never be forgotten especially at Peace Church. God's grace to you and your family.

Sorry for your loss.. He was one of the best teachers I every had. Also a great neighbor... many years we would buy Christmas trees from him. He will be deeply missed. RIP

Jim was an affable and steady presence for me when I became Pastor at Peace in 1987. His smile, dedication, and boundless energy (especially roasting pigs and cutting wood) are a testament to his ability to live his faith in practical ways.

The anchor and godfather of OMB (Old Men's Basketball) for who knows how many years, Jim was a wonderful presence on and off the court. We will long remember fishing, wrestling, and all sorts of other stories.
