Not sure what to say?

My husband and Jim used to discuss the finer points of coffee and fishing. Jim had a remarkable curiosity and inquiring nature. He will be missed.

Mr. Kane was my biology teacher at MCC in the early 70's. He was a wonderful instructor - patient, funny, inspiring and hands on. He was one of those folks you never forget. My condolences to his family.

I had Mr Kane in the early 70's as a teacher at mcc he was one of the best teachers i ever had. He brought us on field trips and we learned so much with hands on knowledge. Sorry for your loss

My class with Dr. Kane at MCC was one of the most enjoyable classes I ever took. A field trip up North to dig wild flowers off a property that was going to be tilled up for farming brought may new varieties to my gardens. I still enjoy them today and think if him when they bloom. My sincerest sympathies to his family. He was the best.

During my tenure at Muskegon Community College, Jim was a friend and a colleague for many years at MCC. He will be greatly missed. Jim's wife Jane Kane was also a professional in the math-science for a long period of time. I will greatly miss him. RIP Jim.

I had Dr Kane for Anatomy at Muskegon Community College. He was a great teacher. He will be missed.

I am so sorry to read this. He was the BEST Biology instructor at MCC that you could ever hope to have. I remember that he really cared about everyone in the class. It was a night class so there were students in there from all ages and all walks of life, and the atmosphere was great. He was a Supra nice guy that really enjoyed teaching college students. Well done, Mr. Kane.

I will remember our time togeather tying flies at Trout Unlimited ln front Royal He aways kept us on our toes RIP Jim

My condolences to the family. Dr. Kane was among my favorite professors at MCC. His humor, love of Nature, his hands on approach to showing how ecosystems operate, and his teaching approaches enhanced my love of ecology and our wondrous natural environment. May all of you who loved him be blessed with happy memories of times together. Take care. He was a great human being...
