Not sure what to say?

This beautiful work hon on the walls of my parents house, Mike and Mary Ann Keeler. I have always loved it, and when I lost my mother in 2021, I was so blessed to be a new caretaker of this wonderful piece! My condolences, and appreciation, to his family... Anne Keeler

I just Googled Mr Karsina only to find his obituary. To me, he was immortal, so enthusiastic about his approach to teaching art history & expressing his love for prominent artists through the decades, but also for his students. I looked forward to his classes mostly to experience not only his knowledge but the pure joy he felt about art. It´s a sad day for me to read this news. Jim Karsina is a man I´ll never forget.

I visited Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque today. It was all because of an art history class that Professor Karsina taught. I remember so much from his lectures. He was one of my favorite teachers. AQ 87-91.

I pray for your comfort with this loss of Jim. He was one of my favorite teachers at Aquinas. I made my life in art partially because of Mr. Karsina. Blessings, Kari

I was just having my coffee overlooking the Hagia Sophia & thought of Mr. Karsina. As an art history major at Aquinas College, I never thought life would bring me to live in Istanbul and have this beautiful view daily. I googled to send him this picture & found the obituary. He made an impression on so many lives & minds. With love, Lori (Heinz) Akdemir (Aquinas College art history assistant 1995)

Phyllis, Deepest condolences to you and your family. Our thoughts are with you at this very difficult and sad time.
