James R. Keenan

I learned of Mr. Keenan's recent passing while browsing through an issue of the Lane Tech Alumni Newsletter I was a student at Lane Tech from 1983-1987, following in the footsteps of my late father (class of 1952) and older brother (class of 1981). My condolences to the Keenan family.

I would like to share a few memories I have of Mr Keenan who was one of the nicest guys my brother and I knew while growing up.

There was always a big group hanging by The Keenan house garage “but never in the yard”. Mr K would come out and see what the riff raff was doing, always with a smile on his face . Oh, and how about that classic Brady Bunch lawn “mower” .
