Not sure what to say?

Great guy! Got me excited about playing music! He could rock!

Jim and I met the first day of school at LC in 1956 and were fast friends all through high school an beyond. Our lives, like so many, went separate ways after college, but I always loved him like a brother. We got together in 2008 when he came to Houston to fight the insidious disease that finally took his life. He stayed with me and it as if we had been together all those missing years. I loved him as a kid, loved him as an adult, and will always love him as a dear and probably my best...

James was a great person, and I will sorely miss him.

My introduction to James was through a phone conversation to discuss Valley Cancer Institute. He was an alumnus of the program and I was considering treatment there. Later, when I arrived in California for treatment, James and I would frequently get together for lunch when he would visit the clinic. And so we became friends.

Obviously, James had his own challenges with respect to cancer, but that didn't prevent...

James had such a good heart. My fondest memory was when both of our families stayed together for a week in a beach house. One night I remember we gathered around the fire inside and James whipped out his guitar to play & sing for us. I had no idea he could play! His passion was contagious and everyone got so into it, laughing and singing. That was such a great time and I cherish it along with all the other memories I have with him and his family. He will truly be missed & forever loved.

Jim was great friend. He loved life a fought a hard battle. We will meet again in a far better place.

Jim had a special place in his heart for the needs of Seniors and a special smile and twinkle in his eye---always made one wonder what mischief he was up to---and I know that he is in a " special place" in Heaven.

I am so sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I have known Jim for many years. I remember going to Lake Arrowhead and listening to Jim and Marks band play at the Chalet. Making this trip with Maxine, Big Jim, and Dirk. Jim had a Fiat sports car back then, and I remember makeing the trip back down the hill in the back seat of this car. Jim and I became email buddies several years ago, and I miss his emails. I will never forget the glint Jim got in his eye when he was having fun with you.

My prayers go out to family and many friends that were touched by this angel. God Bless you.
