Jim was a great friend and classmate both at Notre Dame and Stritch Medical School. No surprise that his career was so remarkable. His warmth and talents will be sorely missed.

Dear Betsy and family,
How saddened we were to hear about Jim.He was an inspiration to so many, and especially in the later years when he forged on(with your loving help)despite the many setbacks he experienced with his condition.

My deepest condolences to the entire Kennedy family.
