Captain Kenney had a direct and positive impact on my life. As Director at NAPS it was his faith in me, even though I struggled academically, that gave me the opportunity to attend the Naval Academy and follow my dreams and become a Naval Aviator. I owe so much to him. I have nothing but fond thoughts of him and sadness at learning of his passing.

They don't come any better. Jim was an officer and a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. The world was a better place because of him. He will be greatly missed. Our heartfelt condolences to Danielle and his family. Captain Joe (and Sylvia) Gamboa
