James Donald Kent

To my cousins and their families, i wish i was there to celebrate the life and times of uncle don. He was a man of wonder, a man of laughter, a friend to all, and a fantastic uncle to all of us and of that , i am grateful !

I met Don a few years ago at a Maryville College reunion which I attended with my father John "Dick" Moore who was a contemporary of Don's. Coincidentally, John also passed away this summer, just 3 months before Don. I know that your family misses Don and my thoughts are with you.

Don was a memorable individual and, above all, a man dedicated to his communities with a singular sense of humor. My son Justin, now 11, fondly remembers meeting Don and the impromptu tour Don gave him of the Spy House just four years ago.

I remain honored to have known Don and Mary who stood for all the right values. Their integrity is still an influence on me. May they rest in peace.
