Not sure what to say?

61 years ago Jimmy introduced me to my future wife, a classmate, Agnes Kendrick. She died last month and I am sure she and Jimmy will have a lot to discuss, I wonder if she thank him?

Jim Kerr
You were a great guy.
I hope we meet again.
I always enjoyed being in your presence.
Rest in peace Jim

Just learned and saddened to hear of Jim's passing from the Lake Placid News.

I grew up in LP with Jim, went to his house as a cub scout, he followed a year after me to Holy Cross. We had many parties, beers and double dates, including our prospective wives. He introduces me to my wife now of 58 years, Agnes Kendrick.

I wish I could of stayed more in touch, my prayers and thoughts are with you, Jim and family.

Peter G. Reiss

Thank you all for signing this guest book - your thoughts and prayers have sustained us through this difficult time.

My condolences to the family of James H. Kerr.

When I first came to Kingston Jim was one of the first attorneys I met and was always willing to share his knowledge with younger attorneys.

He was an extremely gifted trial attorney and more than the equal of any of his contemporaries.

Jim was known for his pithy statements, the one that sticks in my mind is,

"A good lie, well told and stuck to is better than than the truth."

That was said by him in jest,...

Our families were friends through Ridgelawn Swim Club and Mr. & Mrs. Kerr were always so kind & warm to me. Prayers to you all at this difficult time.

Sincerely,
Sheila Pratt

I had very slight contact with Jim over the last 60 years since graduation. But I'll never forget the good time we had right after graduation at his house on Cape Cod. He was very kind to invite me.

Frank McGinity - Class of 56

I have so many fond memories of this sweet, funny man. He was a joy to cross paths with. I ran into him frequently over the years as part of the Kingston legal community. Rest In Peace. You will be truly missed.
