With deep love ahd great sadness, we have to announce the passing of James Walter Kiebler, on July 11, 2025, just one day before his 83rd birthday.
He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Andrea, with whom he shared an extraordinary 63-year marriage built on deep love, mutual respect, and true commitment. Their relationship was a shining example of what it means to grow through life together — supporting one another through joys and sorrows, raising a family side by side, and never letting go of each other’s hands through all of life’s seasons.
He was also an incredible father to his four children: Debra Lynn Murphy (deceased), James Robert, Michael Scott, and Jeanne Elizabeth Loftis (Chris)
And an even better grandfather to Thomas James Murphy, Meghan Murphy, Madison Loftis and Grace Loftis. He was their constant playmate and biggest fan. He never missed a school or sporting event or quality time with them and they adored him in return.
James worked as an engineer on the Long Island Railroad for 35 years, a career he truly loved. He took great pride in his work and cherished the lifelong friendships he built with his coworkers along the way.
He had a great sense of humor, even during the hardest of times. He was a rock for our family — steady, loving, and always their when he was needed. He was not only a wonderful father but also an exceptional father-in-law, generous with his time and laughter.
He leaves behind a legacy of enduring love, strength, and dedication to his family.
