Not sure what to say?

Condolences to Jim's family and friends. May he rest in peace. So many memories at GUHSD working with Jim. Sending prayers to Jim's family and loved ones.

Rest in peace. you were my first superintendent as a teacher at Apollo High School. You made me feel welcome in the district. my love and hugs go out to my dear friend Cristi (long time mentor, co-worker, and friend) and Jims family as well.

My prayers are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time of loss for God to provide comfort, assurance and peace in their lives. They can take solace in a legacy that will far outlive Jim's amazing life. A loving legacy of kindness, thoughtfulness and selfless service. I first met him in my freshman year four and a half decades ago when he kindly scolded me for running in the breezeway. I was Ted' then. His eyes blazed with love. I knew then I wanted him for my teacher in senior...

I was lucky enough to have Mr. Keiffer as my Govt teacher at Sunnyslope High School in 78. He made it fun and we learned at the same time. Mr Keiffer and Mr Deever were always having some kind of fun rivalry going on. Thanks for all that you have done Mr Keiffer and rest in peace and prayers to your family, he was a great man who made a difference.

RIP Mr.Kieffer

40th HS reunion

I am so very sorry for your family's loss. This man, over 40 years ago, heightened my love of this country and through his Government class taught me many life skills. He was bigger than life and one of my favorite teachers of all time. Thank you for a wonderful written legacy to a man who truly cared for others more than himself. I know he will be genuinely missed by many and will always be remembered for his love of his fellow man. Prayers for the comfort and peace that God can provide in...

Jim Keiffer was one of my teachers at Sunnyslope back in 1980. Teacher, principal, politician, volunteer, global ambassador for kindness & good. He had a deep and profound impact on so many people, and helped send smarter, more engaged students into this world. As the song, "For Good" says, for me he changed me both 'for the better' and 'for good'. Thank you hardly seems adequate. Rest well, good sir.
