James Lee Kieffer

Jim was a pillar of Circus Kirk, and a genuine friend of the show. He traveled with us for a number of seasons, and contributed his efforts and expertise during the off-season as well, helping us to prepare for the next tour. When Doc Boas became too unwell to travel, Jim stepped up and took a management role. Doc always considered him a friend. I am proud to have worked with him. My sisters and I (the Boas kids) send condolences and best wishes to Shirley and the family.

I'm proud to call Jim a friend for over 50 years. I learned a lot from Jim and we shared a major common interest, the circus. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. God Bless Shirley and the family.
