Not sure what to say?

My late husband, Frank Jamison, was a longtime colleague of Jim’s at WMU’s tv and video services departments. He always spoke highly of Jim’s gifts for the engineering side of making the magic of casting images onto the screen, small or large. I know he depended on him to get the job done, and he was never disappointed. I only met Jim a few times, but was charmed by his gentle demeanor—and that man could dance!
Wishing you all comfort and consolation from many memories of a fine man.

Our Sincere Condolences to the extended Kirkland family upon the loss of James. He was a friend and fellow Ham whom I enjoyed a friendship with over many years. Shout out to Scott and Lisa. Been looking for you on Social Media. R/Jim Betteley

One of the Kirklin kids I'll never forget. Was such a pleasure over recent years to reconnect with. him from time to time. A kind and interesting man. I admire the connection you've always had with each other will help you during this very sad time.

I always talked with Jim at the KARC meetings, Field Day and LOST in the field before the RACES net. He was always interesting and fun to talk to. I learned he set up the video classes at WMU that I saw a when I took some classes at Sangren Hall. Tom Oliver kc8qff

If not for brother Jim driving me back and forth to Borgess School of Nursing, I would never have become a Registered Nurse. It was an occupation I loved.
